Located in the Kamppi district, nearly a 10-minute ride from the long-running Helsinki Zoo, The Yard Hostel Helsinki features public parking as well as Wi-Fi.
Situated only 0.8 km from the Senate Square, the Helsinki hostel is 2.2 km from such sports venues as the attractive functionalist Olympic Stadium. The unique Temppeliaukio Church, a nearby place of worship, is not far from the hostel. The standing Design Museum is about a 5-minute drive from the accommodation.

During my recent stay at the Yard Hostel in Helsinki, I was pleasantly surprised by the modern amenities and tranquil ambiance. The well-designed rooms offered privacy with protective curtains around the beds, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep-a luxury I often miss while on archaeological digs in more remote locations. The large common lounge provided an inviting space to relax, complete with coffee/tea facilities, a microwave, and a refrigerator. I found it to be an ideal spot to share stories with fellow travelers after a day of exploring nearby cultural highlights, such as the Amos Anderson Art Museum and the breathtaking Sipoonkorpi National Park. the hostel's strategic location made it easy to access major attractions and enjoy the vibrant local scene. I appreciated the grocery shopping services nearby, providing fresh options for meals while reveling in the comradery of other guests.
